E.D.I.P system for teaching trampolining skills works well.
Verbal explanation of the skill, the axes it uses, how it will feel, what the body needs to do, where the eyes should focus
Practical demonstration by coach/teacher or other pupil so that the pupil has a clear visual picture of what the skill looks like
Using safe progressive coaching practices allow the pupil to begin practicing the skill, using skill break downs, safety aids and coach support as necessary. The pupil is working towards imitating the perfect model as seen in the Demonstration stage
The skill, or part skill should be practiced to enable the pupil to consolidate the learning before moving on to the next progression, a new or more complex skill.
