TC Trampoline Instructors Courses

Course Details

The TC Trampoline Instructors Course (KS3&4/Level 1 & Part 2) enables you to coach unsupervised, the skills contained within the syllabus at the time you took the course for the benefit of your pupils.  This is a TC accredited course which utilising the Trampoline Central Award Scheme - Schools Pathway..

Trampoline Central are approved CPD providers by the Training & Development Agency (TDA) and the Professional Development Board for Physical Education (PDB).  We are also members of The Institute for CPD (ICPD) and our training provision meets the standards required for the professional development of Teachers as specified by the TDA.  TC do not restrict the environments in which you may coach and Teachers are not restricted to coaching within  the school curriculum, however, please note some venues have specific certification requirements. Please retain  all your certificates as this is proof you are competent to coach. All coaches should attend a Trampoline Refresher Course at least every 2-3 years.

Entry Requirements

No previous trampoline coaching or personal performance is required to attend this course. However,any personal experienced gained prior to the course will be beneficial.  We would advise learning up to front landings to aid your progression on the course.

Minimum Age 21 years.

Course Syllabus

Pre-course theory study, Bio mechanics

TC Trampoline Award Schemes

Observation, Analysis & Correction  of skills, Safety

Tuck, Pike, Straddle, ½ twist & Full twist

Seat landing, Seat landing ½ twist, ½ twist into seat landing, Swivel Hips

Front  landing, Front landing ½ twist, ½ twist into front landing

Back landing, Back landing ½ twist, ½ twist into back landing

Seat to front landing & Front to seat landing

Front to back landing & Back to front landing

Linking Skills & Routines

Assessment Criteria

The practical element of this course is internally assessed throughout the duration of the course by the course tutor.  A written theory examination (pass mark 60%) will be completed at the end of this course.  Both the practical and theory elements must be passed to successfully complete the course.  Further courses of CPD may be recommended upon completion of the course.

Course Fee

Includes, Resource books & handouts, 1 x Hand held coaching belt, Examination, assessment & certification, Membership/access to the secure members area of the TC website and free confidential advice for a minimum period of 12 months.

Terms & Conditions

All accepted bookings will be charged for regardless of attendance at the course. Refunds/Transfers/Credits will not be made for cancellations, incomplete courses or no shows.

Please note jewellery of any kind is not permitted during the course.

Trampoline Central reserve the right to cancel courses at short notice (at least 5 days) if less than 10 candidates book onto the course.
